Overview
Built in the early 60s, Bangla Bhaban Community Center is one of the oldest iconic architectures from that era. Situated at Narayanganj and located within a few miles of the Dhaka city center, this Convention Hall has a rich heritage. It was named “Bangla Bhaban” by Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman during his visit to Narayanganj in 1966 for the 6-Points Movement. Likewise, he also visited this bungalow before the liberation war of 1971.
